Cube Entertainment’s new boy group NOWZ is making a comeback with its first-ever mini album—seven months after its debut.
On June 7, Cube Entertainment released the promotion schedule for the pre-release track of NOWZ’s upcoming mini album on the group’s official social media accounts. Comprised of members HYEONBIN, YOON, YEONWOO, JINHYUK, and SIYUN, this marks NOWZ’s first release since their debut, as well as their first since their recent rebranding—showcasing a fresh, renewed charm.
According to the schedule, NOWZ will kick off their new era on June 9 with “NOWZ with ?”, followed by a story film, concept photos and videos, a music video teaser, and finally the pre-release single drop along with a special comeback live on June 17. The phrase “NOWZ with ?” alongside a bunny symbol has especially sparked fans’ curiosity.
Several teaser images hint at the mood and aesthetic of the upcoming track: a glass of water reflecting sunlight, a white cabinet, a guitar resting in a music room, an empty rooftop, and headphones lying on the grass. These emotionally evocative visuals suggest a youthful, sensitive atmosphere—raising anticipation for what’s to come.
The title of the mini album, “IGNITION,” was also revealed. Seven months after their last digital single “LET’S GET IT,” released in November, NOWZ is returning under its new name, aiming to more clearly express its artistic identity through this album, which marks a new phase in its growth.
