Actress and artist ARIN (real name Choi Yewon) celebrated her birthday with a generous act.
On June 18, her agency ATRP announced:
“On the occasion of her birthday, ARIN recently donated 20 million won (approximately €13,500) to the Beautiful Foundation. The donation will be used to support vulnerable youth preparing for independence, helping cover their educational and living expenses.”
Since 2021, ARIN has marked her birthday or Coming-of-Age Day each year with an act of generosity. She pays special attention to youth facing family breakdowns or homelessness risks, aiming to help them build stable lives. She has also contributed to distributing coal briquettes to vulnerable households during winter and aided wildfire recovery efforts, spreading positive influence.
Last March, she donated 20 million won to Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief to assist recovery efforts in areas affected by wildfires in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.
ARIN said:
“I wanted to send a small but sincere message of support to young people preparing to live independently. I hope this brings them courage and hope for this new beginning.”
Meanwhile, ARIN remains active both as a member of OH MY GIRL and as an actress. The drama “S-Line”, adapted from a webtoon in which she stars, recently walked the pink carpet at Canneseries, showcasing her potential as an international actress. “S-Line” will premiere in July on the Wavve platform.
