The Netflix film “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” is breaking its own records on Billboard’s main album chart in the United States.

According to Billboard’s official website, as of July 13 (local time), the original soundtrack for “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” ranked 2nd on the Billboard 200, the platform’s main album chart, in the latest rankings for the week of July 19.
This marks the highest position ever achieved by “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS”, which originally debuted at No. 8 before climbing to No. 3.
The track “Your idol“, from the film’s soundtrack, reached No. 1 on Spotify USA’s Daily Top Songs chart on July 4 and climbed to No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100, the leading singles chart in the U.S., as of July 8.
Another song from the soundtrack, “Golden”, hit No. 1 on Korea’s Melon TOP 100 chart on July 13.
“KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” is an animated fantasy-action film featuring Rumi, Mira, and Joey, K-pop superstars who, behind their spectacular stage performances, live secret lives as demon hunters, protecting the world from dark forces.
Since its release on June 20, the film has achieved global success, topping Netflix’s Top 10 Movies chart for 11 consecutive days, according to data from FlixPatrol.
