Rapper CWAR (Kim Yunhyeok) unveils the essence of hybrid art with his new album.

The single album “HYBRIDBOY” by rapper and visual director CWAR (Kim Yunhyeok) will be released on July 24 at noon across major music streaming platforms.
Based on the concept of “the final serenade of a boy born into the apocalypse,” this single conveys a desperate declaration of identity in a troubled era, as well as a final confession of love to those dearest.
The album features two tracks: the title song “Time machine” and the B-side “Serenade.” These songs blend polished sound design with lyrical messaging, creating a soundscape that is both sensory and emotional.
CWAR explains:
“I wanted to express the most intense state in the face of an unforgivable fear, and I hoped that even the final moment could be etched like a piece of art.”
Notably, the artist personally planned, directed, and edited all visual content, from the teaser to the music video and even a documentary, crafting a complete and coherent audiovisual universe that goes far beyond a typical music release.
More than just an album, “HYBRIDBOY” is a true artistic project, capturing the essence of the “hybrid art” CWAR (Kim Yunhyeok) aims to embody.
Since his debut in 2021 with the single “GOCWAR,” CWAR has made a name for himself in the music scene with his distinctive presence, earning praise for his experimental sound and unique visual direction.
The official music videos and the documentary for “HYBRIDBOY” will be gradually released on CWAR’s official YouTube channel.
