SWINGS
Rapper SWINGS will appear in the film “타짜4 (Tazza 4)”, directed by Choi Gook Hee.
According to industry sources as of August 4, SWINGS has been cast in “Tazza 4” under his real name, Moon Jihoon. He will play King Kong, a high school friend of the main characters Jang Tae Young (played by Byun Yohan) and Park Tae Young (played by Noh Jaewon), a role described as fairly significant.
“Tazza 4” is set in the early 2000s and tells the story of two inseparable high school friends, Jang Tae Young and Park Tae Young, who enter KAIST (one of Korea’s most prestigious science universities) together. However, their friendship breaks down due to betrayal, turning them into sworn enemies who eventually confront each other again.
SWINGS has long shown a strong interest in acting, regularly training and appearing in short films. He has shared this journey on social media, stating:
“Many laugh or don’t take me seriously, but I will prove that I am taking this acting challenge sincerely.”
He officially made his acting debut playing a used car dealership manager in the web series “없는영화 (The Movie That Doesn’t Exist)”, directed by creator Jin Yong Jjin.
“Tazza 4” is the fourth installment in the series that began with “Tazza”, released in 2006 and which drew 5.69 million viewers. The new film will be directed by Choi Gook Hee, known for “Default”. Filming is expected to begin as early as September.
