CJ ENM is presenting this summer’s music snack movie “Back! Stage” (directed by Bang Seong Jun), a film just 22 minutes long that promises to capture audiences from the very first moment. The film will be released starting on the 18th in 19 CGV theaters nationwide. Short but intense, it highlights three key points of anticipation.

“Back! Stage” is a project fully spearheaded by CJ ENM, from planning and production to the original soundtrack. Building on its strong track record in OST production for hits such as “Lovely runner”, “Yumi’s cells“, “Crash landing on you”, and “Goblin”, CJ ENM has distilled its musical and narrative expertise into a single music film that combines both artistic quality and commercial appeal.
The film was created with the participation of the music director of “Lovely runner“, producer Kim Jinwoo (behind box office hits like “Seoul’s spring”, “Harbin”, and “Handsome guys“), and producer Lee Yong Su, ensuring a polished final product. In just 22 minutes, the film delivers a dense story and refined visuals, expanding the possibilities of the “snack movie” genre.
◆ “A summer film to experience in theaters”: the freshness of youth brought to life through music
This youth-centered music film, infused with the spirit of summer, captures both the vibrant breath of youth and the burning intensity of the stage. Notably, the entire film was shot on an iPhone 16 Pro, then enhanced by the meticulous work of an experienced production team, resulting in immersive and vivid imagery that condenses the heat of summer into one short film.
The lead role of Giseok is played by YUNHO of ATEEZ, marking his big screen debut. He is joined by Bae Jae Young (as bassist Myeong Oh), Lee Chan Woo (as guitarist Yoo Won), and Kim Eunho (as drummer Seong Hwan), who complete the band. With their fresh visuals and steady acting, they vividly convey the energy of youth and the passion of music.
◆ Sold-out stage greetings & OST release: the hype is on!
Beyond the film itself, “Back! Stage” is fueling excitement with a variety of related events. The stage greeting on opening day, held on the 18th at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall, quickly sold out.
