WEi makes its comeback.
WEi releases today (the 29th) at 6 PM KST on major music platforms its eighth mini-album “WONDERLAND”.
The title track “Home” conveys, through the metaphor of a “home,” the comforting presence of someone who stays by our side even in moments of fatigue and difficulty. It carries a message of promise and warmth dedicated to fans.
In particular, member JANG DAEHYEON participated in writing, composing, and arranging the song, infusing it with WEi’s unique musical sensitivity and identity. The choreography, carefully aligned with the emotions of the track, and fluid movements down to the hand gestures enhance the immersion in the song.
The music video, released simultaneously with the single, illustrates WEi’s journey, advancing through a rain of arrows to reach its fans. Their determination to rise even after a deep fall, solely for their fans, conveys sincerity that is especially touching.
In addition to “Home”, “WONDERLAND” includes five tracks in total: “Domino”, which carries a message of courage and self-overcoming with powerful energy; “One in a million”, whose explosive chorus evokes youthful brilliance and carefree freedom; “Gravity”, a dreamy ballad about the irresistible pull of love; and finally “Everglow”, a song dedicated to fans, expressing the group’s wish to remain “the star that always shines for RUi” (the fandom).
“WONDERLAND” marks WEi’s return about nine months after the release of their seventh mini-album “THE FEELINGS”. Through this album, the group invites RUi into a “Wonderland” where the joy and serenity of being together can be felt. With “WONDERLAND”, WEi aims to demonstrate growth both musically and on stage.
Furthermore, WEi will officially begin its comeback activities today (the 29th) at 8 PM KST with the showcase “2025 WEi SHOW-CON ‘WONDERLAND'”, held at Yes24 Live Hall in the Gwangjin district of Seoul, immediately following the album release.
