The group BTS revealed the title of its new album, “ARIRANG”, which will be released after 3 years and 9 months of waiting.

On January 16, BTS revealed via the fan platform Weverse the name of its 5th studio album, which will be released on March 20. This new album, composed of 14 tracks, is titled “ARIRANG”, an iconic Korean folk song.
“ARIRANG” is a title that encompasses the identity of BTS as well as the emotions the members wish to share with music fans. As this long-awaited comeback approaches, the group naturally turned toward its roots, its starting point, and its inner stories. According to BIG HIT MUSIC, they wanted to infuse their music with their identity as a group born in Korea, as well as the deep nostalgia and intense love rooted in their hearts.
Since their debut, BTS has always presented sincere music reflecting the experiences and thoughts of its members. This authenticity created a strong resonance with the public and became the strength of its songs. The new album, which addresses universal emotions such as nostalgia and deep love, is expected to generate broad empathy around the world.

In addition, BTS will begin a new world tour starting with the April 9 concert at Goyang Stadium. This tour will include a total of 79 concerts in 34 cities worldwide, a record in the history of Kpop. Additional concerts in Japan and the Middle East are planned, which is expected to further expand the scale of the tour.
The group will perform for the first time as a Korean artist in numerous stadiums, including El Paso, Foxborough, Arlington, and Baltimore in the United States, and plans a 360-degree stage setup to maximize audience immersion on site.
