The group VIVIZ (Eunha, Sinb, Umji), originating from the group GFRIEND, has separated from its agency BIG PLANET MADE ENTERTAINMENT.

According to lawyer WOO HONG GYUN of the SHINWON law firm, legal representative of VIVIZ, the group notified the termination of its exclusive contract on April 8, citing a breach of the relationship of trust due to the violation of the obligation to pay settlements and negligence in managerial support.
Consequently, their exclusive contract lost its validity as of the 4th of last month.
The SHINWON firm stated: “After delaying the payment of settlements in November of last year, the agency still has not paid the sums due to date, and it unilaterally canceled the release of the new album in preparation as well as the fan meeting for the first half of the year.”
In particular, the agency’s inability to provide support was cited as the main reason for the contract termination, as the manager had to use his own personal funds due to the non-payment of field expenses.
It was reported that the members of VIVIZ, in order to respect their commitment to fans even after the termination of the contract, honored all their scheduled programs until the end of last month, including performances abroad.
The SHINWON firm conveyed the group’s will to pursue its activities by stating: “The artists ardently wish to be able to continue together as a team, just as they are doing now.”
BIG PLANET, a label under the umbrella of ONE HUNDRED, is going through a difficult period due to successive departures of its artists. The singer and actor LEE SEUNG GI also notified the termination of his exclusive contract to this agency. Recent reports indicate that THE BOYZ, LEE MUJIN, and BE’O have also notified the termination of their exclusive contracts. TAEMIN of SHINEE, who was part of this agency, has already changed labels.
