SHINee member TAEMIN has unveiled a sneak peek of the concept for his second performance at the American festival “Coachella.”

On April 17, TAEMIN posted a promotional image for his second Coachella performance on his official social media accounts (X, Instagram), showing him bound by red threads. The image artistically expresses the artist’s inner world through these enveloping red threads. This visual, a central element of the narrative TAEMIN wishes to convey, hints at the depth of the performance to be presented during his second set on the 18th (local time).
Recently, TAEMIN was included by Vogue magazine in its list of “Best Celebrity Outfits at Coachella 2026.” Vogue praised his style as an extension of his performance’s artistry, naming him one of the festival’s most stylish highlights.
On April 15, TAEMIN appeared live on the American morning show Good Day LA on FOX11. Reflecting on his first performance, he shared emotionally, “It was an overwhelming moment because this is a stage I’ve dreamed of for a long time. From the stage, the flashes from the audience looked like stars shining in space.”
Regarding the concert on the 18th, he displayed confidence: “Now that I’m familiar with the stage, I’m going to fix the small regrets from the first time to deliver an even more polished performance.” He also piqued fans’ curiosity by revealing a hint: “There will be a major costume change, with a slightly more daring ‘skin showing’ element.“
His agency, Galaxy Corporation, stated:
“The performance on the 18th will be the pinnacle of TAEMIN’s capabilities as an artist. We are going to etch his unique artistic universe—that of a man rising above what the red thread symbolizes—into the minds of people worldwide.”
Following the success of his first set, all eyes are now on Coachella’s Mojave stage, where TAEMIN will perform again this April 18. As with the first session, this performance will be livestreamed on the official Coachella YouTube channel.
