The girl group RESCENE discussed the gyaru makeup that sparked positive reactions toward the team.
In the shoot for @star1 unveiled on May 6, RESCENE fully radiated a refreshing and adorable charm. The five members, who have just passed their 2nd anniversary, continue their unique worldview centered on the concept of scent. They recently successfully concluded activities for “Runaway”, showing an appearance that has grown even further. The members stated:
“The performances have been improved and our opinions were widely reflected in the choreography. We are proud that more people recognize RESCENE through these activities.”
Receiving evaluations as a “house of famous songs” thanks to well-produced tracks such as “Heart drop”, “Love attack”, and “Counting star”, RESCENE expressed sincere gratitude for this label. RESCENE confided: “Since these are songs that we first loved immensely ourselves, seeing fans enjoy them as well gives us a huge sense of accomplishment regarding what we prepared.”
The support of the representative, a Berklee College of Music composition graduate born in the 90s, has been a great strength in accumulating many famous songs in just two years. The members stated: “We are now truly like family with the representative,” explaining: “He is very picky musically, which makes us nervous, but we rely on him all the more. For the line distribution, he knows exactly each of our strengths and tailors it to us, which is reassuring.”
The agency’s atmosphere, which allows them to freely attempt challenges that would not be easily permitted for idols, is RESCENE‘s strength. The members conveyed:
“We take on challenges with the spirit of doing everything we feel like trying. We are grateful to the company for being able to freely attempt things like the gyaru concept or lives that might have been restricted in a large agency.”
Recently, WONI‘s personal YouTube content has attracted great attention, making the gyaru concept popular. WONI revealed her ambition while laughing: “I would like to try doing a music show once with all the members in gyaru makeup.” They also overflow with confidence in communicating with fans. The members shared an anecdote: “We are confident in our live streams. While chatting with fans, we once did one for up to 7 hours.”
Finally, RESCENE declared their ambitions: “Later on, we would like to become a group that juniors remember as a role model. We hope that friends will dream of becoming idols while watching us.”
