The singer SOYOU will organize a solo concert for the first time in about 4 years.

“Off Hours” is a stage held about 4 years after SOYOU‘s first solo concert in 2022, and she plans to present a performance focusing her expanded musical spectrum and deepened sensitivity.
Particularly, during this concert, she will reveal for the first time the performances of all the songs from her third EP album “OFF HOURS”, released last April 29. SOYOU‘s discography, encompassing various genres such as dance, ballad, and drama OSTs, will be reorganized with a “Full Band” live session to perfect a richer sound full of vitality.
This solo concert, which coincides with the release of her recent work “OFF HOURS”, should show in a multidimensional way SOYOU‘s expanded vocal timbre, being a performance where her accumulated musical changes as well as her various stage expertise are concentrated. Thus, it arouses expectations as a saving stage that will prove once again her title of “trusted vocalist.”
On the unveiled poster, she sports a sober and natural visual while wearing a hat marked with the inscription “Off Hours”, giving a hint of the sincere atmosphere that will be presented during this show. In this context, SOYOU plans to share a special communion by breathing at an even closer distance with her fans.
The third EP album “OFF HOURS” is receiving positive reactions since its release, being evaluated as showing SOYOU‘s expanded musical spectrum. Centered on the title song “Girl”, in which she participated in writing the lyrics, the trial of new sounds based on indie pop harmonized with an autobiographical message to arouse the empathy of listeners, and the included songs are also receiving praise for their solid structure.
In this way, SOYOU has proven once again her title as a talented artist by receiving feedback highlighting her raspy vocal timbre and delicate emotional expressions. Therefore, this solo concert organized after 4 years should be a place extending the popularity and charm of her new work.
Furthermore, SOYOU recently revealed via her YouTube channel that her highest weight had been 68kg, before confiding having lost 20kg thanks to a drastic diet.
SOYOU‘s solo concert entitled “Off Hours” will take place next June 6 at 6 p.m. KST at the Seoul YES24 Wonderloc Hall.
