NOWZ
The group NOWZ is preparing to make its entrance into a major music awards ceremony in the Chinese-speaking world.
NOWZ (Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, Siyun) will take the stage at the “2026 TMElive International Music Awards” (hereinafter “2026 TIMA”), which will be held this coming August 22 at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong.
The “TIMA” is a music awards ceremony created last year by the Tencent Music Entertainment group, the largest music platform company in China. This year, the event will take place over two days, August 22 and 23, and NOWZ will go to meet local fans by taking the stage on the first day, August 22.
With “자유롭게 날아 (Feat. YUQI)”, a pre-release song from their 1st mini-album “IGNITION” published last year, NOWZ rose to 1st place on China’s QQ Music daily new song chart. The group then revealed its presence as a global rookie by entering the iTunes Top Songs charts in several regions, including Hong Kong. The music video also obtained a burning reaction in the Chinese-speaking world by placing at the top of QQ Music’s Korean music video chart as well as on the challenge chart of Douyin, the largest short-form platform in China.
Before that, NOWZ will also perform on August 2 during the summer festival “2026 Ocean World Blue Splash”, organized to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Ocean World. The members plan to commune with the public by presenting varied performances on the stage of this refreshing summer festival.
Actively pursuing its steps, notably by recently being selected as advertising models for the first time, NOWZ is also accelerating the preparation of its new album with the goal of a comeback in August.
