Group BLK has been disbanded, without any announcement, less than a year after their debut.
Today, September 18th at 2:36AM KST, TAEBIN, member of group BLK, leaves a message for the first time to clarify things a little.
While the group and their agency had launched a Makestar project, which ended on June 30 with a success of more than 270%, fans remained without any news of the members.
The agency had to formally decide on the future of the group, but nothing has been done and therefore TAEBIN chose to make a move.
A message that may scare some, showing the difficulty of the young man’s life since all this time.

“Hello, this is Taebin.
It has been a while. I was very worried about how to start this post. I could not visit the fan-café for a while because getting into the cafe was too heartbreaking for me. I think there are a lot of questions in your mind, you wonder, “Why don’t they make a comeback?”, “What happened?”, “What about Makestar? ?”. I wanted to say a lot, but I waited because the agency said it was going to publish an official announcement. But too much time has passed now and I realized that there was not even a staff member who could provide an official statement by himself.
To come to the conclusion: BLK has been dissolved. Around the month of August, JONG IN and I left first and I think the other members left around the beginning of September. JONG IN and I left the group first and the process of departure was horrible and painful. I could not sleep without drinking alcohol and just wanted to die because I was wondering if I had trained 7-8 years to see such results and was worried about what would be my future now. And in the middle of all this, I received 5 to 6 direct messages a day, criticizing me or saying that the money they had invested in Makestar did not come back to them (why are they asking me …?) . And some even managed to find my KakaoTalk ID and called me at 2am. Some have belittled me and the members, as if we had just betrayed people, without having any idea of the situation. All this right just when I just wanted to die.
I really spent the worst summer of my life enduring the sadness of leaving the group and the indescribable pain. Of course, I understand that you have no information. There was no announcement, so of course there will be lots of speculation and rumors. I can not explain our situation to each of you, so I’m posting this here. I hope this will answer your questions.
One thing is certain: the members and I have done nothing wrong with the dissolution of the group. I can not tell you in detail, but we had to separate because of internal circumstances within the agency. We had to disband. I needed a lot of courage to talk about our end like this. It’s really over now. I have to accept it …
Many idol groups debut and disappear in South Korea. Some idols succeed and shine, but I will now follow a different path. It was for a short time, but I will remember our group BLK and me, TAEBIN, who were once tiny lights. I deeply cherish the great love you gave me, the life in Japan and China before our beginnings, our happy showcase, the cake and the many letters you sent me on my birthday, our first thrilling show , the lack of fans, our last show, which we did not know was our last, the fun KCON and our last OST recording as BLK. BLK debuted last November with the title “Hero” and had previously performed under the name of ACEMAX BLACK.
