IZ*ONE, girls’ group, is also gaining popularity in Japan.
IZ * ONE released their first Japanese single “好きと言わせたい (I want you to tell me that you love me)” Last month, they organized a showcase at Tokyo Dome, Japan, and met more than 4,000 fans. They plan to hold a “Hitterchi” event in each region in the middle of this month.
According to the Oricon Chart and Billboard Japan, IZ*ONE’s first single in Japan sold more than 190,000 copies on the first day of release and exceeded 280,000 albums on the third day. The local interest of Japan for IZ*ONE is thus clearly proven.
It is foreseeable that IZ*ONE will become even more popular in Japan as they are expected to appear in Japan’s local broadcasting service. Music Station, a music program by Asahi TV, announced on its official website that IZ*ONE will be playing on its show “好きと言わせたい” on April 15th
