The rumor that ran for Mnet’s “Road to kingdom” was confirmed.
The production team held a pre-meeting session before the release of “ROAD TO KINGDOM” at the end of April and is finalizing the cast of seven to eight groups. The members of the production removed the veil with this first video teaser which announces the emission.
“KINGDOM” will be a group version of boys from “Queendom” which took place with Lovelyz, Mamamoo, Park Bom, Oh My Girl, AOA and (G) I-DLE last year. The artists are evaluated by the public through a process of friendly competition.
“KINGDOM” aims to be broadcast from the end of July to August. Since the schedules and activities abroad, including the concerts, are tight for the groups of idols, the production team contacted certain groups since last year to work out a programming.
Problems and questions arise between “KINGDOM” and “ROAD TO KINGDOM“. According to a source close to the production team, the names of the programs clearly show class discrimination based on popularity. “Who will be in” Kingdom “and who will be in” Road to Kingdom “?
At a time when Mnet and “Produce” broadcasts are in the spotlight because of rigged votes, production teams must play the transparency card as much as possible.
