MNET has released the 2 episodes of the show series ROAD TO KINGDOM. In this show, 7 groups compete during performances in order to obtain their place to access the KINGDOM program which will be the male version of Queedom.

During the very first episode, the 7 groups, ONEUS, ONF, GOLDEN CHILD, THE BOYZ, PENTAGON, VERIVERY and TOO were to present themselves with a performance of 90 seconds. This episode had seen the victory of the group THE BOYZ which had impressed the other competitors.

For the next two episodes, the groups had to perform by using titles from their “sunbaes”, by remixing them and bringing their personal touch.

Whether through the choreography, the melodic rearrangement, the staging or the powerful performance, each group did its best to impress the others.

Using the titles of their elders, H.O.T, Shinee, T.O.P, Seventeen and DBSK, the first 5 teams that competed in the second episode managed to reinvent the titles. Ranging from a simple new performance, to a more possessed universe, the boys were able to do an exceptional job.

The 2 groups that dominated the contest at the end of the first episode passed into the third part of the program.

For the remix of the song “Very good” by the group BLOCK B, the  group PENTAGON could count on the talent of HUI who made them record the new version.

When the members of THE BOYZ had to choose the title with which they will defend themselves, they first carried out a round table by defining who was the “sunbae” representative of the kpop. The choice fell on Taemin, but the difficulty came later. Taemin is a solo artist and we will have to adapt the song to a group of 11 members. Will the performance be up to par?

During the results the first tears will flow on the cheeks of these artists who fight to show the best of themselves

After the results, the 2 MCs follow quickly by announcing the next theme and specifying that at the end of it a group will be eliminated from the program. The 3rd theme is:

“MY SONG”

In the second part of the third episode, JINHO of the group PENTAGON speaks with the members of his group that the next performance will be his last with them, because on May 11th, he had to leave to do his military service. The end of the episode is likely to need a tissue for many fans.

But the competition does not stop. You have to make a difference and why not with a “guest”?

To discover the 6 remaining performances, you will have to wait a week, because the episode will be broadcast next Thursday at 8 p.m.
