JACKSON WANG reveals the first collection of his brand.
A few days following the release of the behind-the-scenes of his “Invisible man” campaign, the singer and creative director revealed the images of his brand’s first collection.
For this first collection, JACKSON offers numerous fashion pieces – pullovers, tshirts, bags, pants, beanies, jackets, shorts – with prices ranging from $50 to $220. These first minimalist items are his way of confronting two worlds: sportswear and fashion. As he explained to Vogue via e-mail, “Fashion to [him] is not about just wearing the best brands, the most expensive clothes, or just luxury fashion. It’s about finding the style and what makes you confident and feels right.”
JACKSON has been preparing for his brand for three years to make it a “total representation of [his] aesthetic” . Consistent with the way he doesn’t classify in a unique musical genre and the way he describes himself as an eclectic singer, his vision goes further than creating his music: he is also the CEO of his own label, the designer of his own brand and a producer for other artists, as he describes in TEAM WANG’s new intagram bio and Pasha De Cartier’s campaign.
Rather than introducing me as a performer or a singer, I would rather say I’m a person that always challenge my limits.
The next step for JACKSON is the opening of his pop-up store in China in July and his online store for which we can subscribe to the newsletter.
