HIGHLIGHT: YANG YO SEOP is free
Group HIGHLIGHT’s member YANG YO SEOP completed military service today (August 30th), becoming the second member to serve in the military after YOON DOO JOON. The two remaining members are also set to be removed from their posts this year, raising fan expectations.

YANG YO SEOP was released from Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police Agency, located in Jangan-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, today. YANG YO SEOP, who joined the military in January 2019, completed his basic military training at the Nonsan Training Center and was assigned to Gyeonggi Nambu Provincial Police to serve as a policeman.
YANG YO SEOP left a long post on his Instagram today with his thoughts on his release from the military. First of all, he said, “January 24, 2019 was a busy day for me. I still remember my parents waving their hands and wiping away their tears on the large playground at Nonsan Training Center, and I still remember the cheers of many fans and my feelings and emotions,” he recalls.
“There have been a lot of difficult times and happy times in those 1 year, seven months and seven days. I cried, laughed, I was depressed, I was happy, I had misses and I felt invigorated. I had a long, long, and wonderful time. A lot of the people who are going to be on the final credits of this wonderful movie were very good people to me.“
Finally, he said: “I am grateful to the countless people who have helped me endure this long and long time, including our fans who have counted the number of full moon, together, 20 times. We will reward you with good music and better performance.”

YANG YO SEOP is the second member to announce his exit from the military after leader YOON DOO JOON was removed from his post in April. The other members, LEE KI KWANG and SON DONG WOON, joined the military in April and May of last year, respectively, and are expected to be demobilized in November and December.
The highlight of this year’s event is the situation where all members will be released from the military. Attention is focused on how HIGHLIGHT, soon to be fully booked, will return to fans in the future.
