JACKSON WANG features on Forbes’ Asia’s 100 Digital Stars list.

As the pandemic has been hitting the world for a year now, the entertainment industry has been constrained to slow down. Yet, some celebrities have managed to keep their career moving and interact with their audience through social media. With this list of 100 Digital Stars from Asia, Forbes highlighted the performance of these artists.
Many criteria have been taken into account by the magazine to set up this list of artists who have been inspiring their community despite this social distancing and lockdown circumstances: social media coverage, engagement, impact, brand endorsements, global acknowledgement, etc.
So, Forbes referred JACKSON as one of the most influencial celebrities on social media in Asia Pacific and goes back on his social reach.
Acknowledged in China as a successful but still growing artist, he was previously a fencing olympian and is still part of KPOP boyband GOT7. As he regularly trends on social networks, he holds a consequent media reach with over 25 millions followers on Weibo, almost 3 million on Twitter and 20 million on Instagram. His influence doesn’t stop at China’s borders: in 2019, he appeared in James Corden’s US-based Late Late Show.
The magazine also goes through his multifaceted career, from music to fashion. Since the foundation of TEAM WANG, his own label, JACKSON has released a number of music pieces starting with singles like “Papillon” , “100 ways” which has reached 48 million views and his latest release “Pretty please” . In 2019, he also revealed his first solo album, “MIRRORS” , containing 8 songs, 7 in English and 1 in Chinese, which has earned him 3 awards at the NetEase Cloud Music in 2019. But his career also comes with other layers: after numerous collaborations with great brands such as FENDI, Cartier, Ray-Ban and Adidas, JACKSON created his own under his label’s name, TEAM WANG design, and has launched since July 2020 his original collection along with many limited editions.
