JINSEOK, maknae of the boysband B.I.G, presented his very first performance for the TV show “Voice King“.

JINSEOK is participating since mid-April in the survival show “Voice King“.
B.I.G: First survival for JINSEOK
The show focuses on Korean folk songs called “trot“. In the first part of the show, the 86 contestants had to go on stage and present a solo performance, judged by a 7-member jury. For the third episode of the show, JINSEOK presented his solo performance on the song “Finger heart” by ROH JIHOON. His enthusiastic and high quality performance did not leave the public and the jury indifferent:
With his stage performance, JINSEOK got 6 votes from the jury out of 7 allowing him to continue the competition. Jury YOON ILSANG who did not vote for him explains:
“I feel like I am playing the role of the villain here… Your voice is good, your stage presence too, but in this program we are looking for special voices, different tones. To be honest I was a little bit disappointed with your tone, it lacks personality. If you work on your style and tone then one day when we hear your voice in the street, we will be able to recognise you immediately and differentiate you from the others.”
This being JINSEOK‘s first performance on television since his debut 3 years ago, he burst into tears backstage. He explains in his interview:
“Being on stage was a great feeling. I was able to get qualified for the second round of the show and I will work even harder! I really want to do well. I would like to be congratulated by the jury.”
We wish JINSEOK all the best!
