The former member of the group CRAYON POP, WAY who has her own YouTube channel “WAYLAND“, conducts various interviews.
For this episode, WAY got a friend of hers that Kpop fans know, former BLANC7‘s member SHINWOO.
During the video the fans were able to ask different questions to which the young man was kind enough to answer. Among them were questions about beauty and male idols. How they took care of them, whether in relation to their weight, their face, their beard …
SHINWOO responded, regarding the weight
“Compared to female idols we don’t really have any restrictions, because our choreographies are so intense that we quickly eliminate”.
As for the beard and mustache it depends on each male idol, because their hair is different. Some are lucky and don’t need to shave. Others like SHINWOO have to shave every morning to have a clear skin and thus make the makeup perfect. Unfortunately for others they will have to resort to laser treatment.
Another question brought up the subject of homosexuality within groups and in the world of music. What the two artists both responded to
“we’ve heard that there are a lot of gay people in the art world but we haven’t witnessed a coming out or a relationship.”
