A moment with the magazine COSMOPOLITAN, for a return on him.

Actor CHA HAK YEON returns solo in the pages of the Korean magazine COSMOPOLITAN revealing himself with a few shots, featuring him in dance postures or displaying his beauty in black and white.
To accompany these photos, the actor comes to tell us about his last roles since his demobilization from the army, like that of Go Do Young in the drama “Stage season 4: The fair“. A drama whose main character, played by CHA HAK YEON, is a psychopathic serial murderer.
“With this character I thought I could erase the idol image I had as N, but also the very image of CHA HAK YEON. It allowed me to show you a new face”
During the interview, CHA HAK YEON can discuss his military service. It seemed to him like a pause, a moment which allowed him to look back on the things he had done and to be able to refocus on himself and his desires. These 1 and a half years of army, allowed him to look and view the various works in which he participated.
Besides, after seeing them, the drama in which he is the most proud of his work, because CHA HAK YEON is never satisfied with what he does, is the drama “Tunnel“, while his parents preferred his acting in “A familiar wife“, because he doesn’t die in this one.
“I am not satisfied with anything”

CHA HAK YEON will also talk about his life and his entourage, parents, brothers and sisters, because the young man was very surrounded during his childhood. All this love he received as a child is something he loves to give back.
“When I do something for another person, I like the process of thinking about what the person likes. Rather than thinking that I should take care of it on purpose, I think that’s why I do a lot of events because it makes me happy.”
During his army, CHA HAK YEON received many letters from people supporting him. In order to show that he had received all the letters, the young man made a video showing him making a collage with all the stamps of these letters.
Currently CHA HAK YEON focuses on fairly simple things, he likes to take care of his plants at home, he thinks about several things, he likes interior design because for him some things are excessive in terms of their price.
“I think I feel a lot of happiness with little things.”

The concept photo of this interview is dancing, and this is not trivial because CHA HAK YEON is known to be a very good dancer, even before his debut. Between acting and dancing, for him, there is a common point, and that comes from the eyes. He thinks that his eyes say more than his movements, because if we do not express his desire, his action by his gaze, then the movement disappears.
“Acting with the eyes is really important to playing a role … especially if you don’t speak a lot”
CHA HAK YEON is a member of the group VIXX managed by Jellyfish Entertainment, the young man left his agency since October 31st. He signed an exclusive contract as an actor at 51K, Ok Taec Yeon’s agency.
