GOT7 : Mark Tuan breaks through Paris Fashion Week with dazzling style.

GOT7 member MARK TUAN breaks the internet with bold looks at the 2021 Paris Fashion Week.

GOT7 member MARK TUAN attended Paris Fashion Week, held from September 27th to October 5th, and he dressed to impress.

Maintaining this eventful year’s momentum filled with new projects, MARK TUAN gave models a run for their money at Paris Fashion Week. 

MARK attended the Spring/Summer 2022 shows of Rick Owens, Raf Simons, Balenciaga and Lanvin. With the eyes of fashionistas and fans from across the world on him, MARK showed off stunning outfits fit for renowned fashion figures. 

Among the GOT7 members, MARK is known to be one of the fashionistas. Throughout the years, he has been the face of multiple fashion magazines ranging from Vogue to GQ to L’Officiel and was often praised for his personal clothing choices.

Prior to his surprise yet much-anticipated appearance in one of Paris’ most fashionable events, fans had been able to enjoy MARK‘s latest release for Marvel’s Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings movie: “Never gonna come down” featuring Korean singer BIBI. 

This time around, the GOT7 rapper proved once again his impeccable fashion taste, causing quite the stir with his confident and elaborate looks. Along with his two friends, videographers and photographers WILL CHAN and RANDY WONG, the trio made Paris’ streets their catwalk.

 

 

Monochrome leather look at Rick Owens.

MARK kicked off his Paris Fashion Week with one of his most iconic looks to date.

If American designer Rick Owens is known for bold, unconventional, meaningful looks, MARK has surely succeeded in capturing the peculiar essence of Owen’s collections. 

MARK TUAN sported Owen’s legendary transparent high-heeled Kiss boots combined with an all-black leather jumpsuit and coat – which he carried off with ease –  that left fans completely awestruck, wishing for more.

 “They were actually pretty comfortable, yeah, I’d totally wear them again.”

The close-fitted looks pulled off by both MARK and WILL made headlines, receiving praise from fans and fashion aficionados from around the world.

 

Embracing fall in colors at Raf Simons.

Much like Owen’s genderless designs, Raf Simons dives into the complexity of unisex clothing and androgynous looks. MARK embraces this new line of wear by rocking a sleek look from the Raf Simons Fall 2021 collection. 

From his striking red pants harmonizing with a gray jumper and green polo neck, MARK displayed a cozy, stylish look – perfect for the beginning of fall.

Timeless chic at Balenciaga. 

MARK made an appearance at the very much anticipated Balenciaga show’s red carpet. He opted for items from the 2022 Spring line, wearing a dapper long black leather trench coat with white short-sleeved mock neck top and pants.

The latter was also seen, along with fellow friends and PFW’s mates WILL CHAN and RANDY WONG, posing next to US rap superstar OFFSET from MIGOS, K-pop rapper BM from KARD and Balenciaga creative director DEMNA GVASALIA.

The crowd went crazy for these simple yet detailed looks, even causing quite the traffic jam at the end of the Balenciaga show. 

 

Swooning elegance in velvet at Lanvin. 

For his last attendance to a Fashion Week runway, MARK hit the Lanvin front row with an exquisite outfit of teal velvet coat, from the fall collection, embellished with a flower-shaped brooch with the French brand written underneath, paired with a suit and colorful sneakers.

Mark gathered a crowd of celebrities, fans and passers with his dazzling looks, oozing confidence and calm demeanor. 

Borderless, Genderless, Free fashion.

Throughout his stay in Paris, MARK TUAN has been able to experiment with his outfits at each show he attended. 

 “It’s my first fashion week so I’ve been trying to show a different look every single show.”

From his timeless leather look for Balenciaga, comfortable androgynous outfit for Raf Simons, modernized velvet dandy look for Lanvin, or futuristic all-black style for Rick Owens, MARK has been able to explore the wonders of fashion and genderless dressing.

As one of the many fashionistas of GOT7, he has been vocal about wanting to get out of the box, embracing new, bold fashion statements even if they defy gender-based norms – much like his bandmates BAMBAM and JAY B. 

“I feel like fashion is something where people can do that. There’s no more rules these days. People want to break down barriers and fashion is the way people can do that right now.” 

MARK, who has been vocal about his stance on gender fluidity when it comes to dressing, has entered the radar of many figures of the fashion world. From fashion figure and designer MICHELE LAMY or US rapper OFFSET, it seems that his influence will likely grow as he continues modeling and working on his music craft. 

He has also hinted at upcoming solo and group releases during his stay. 

The Paris Fashion Week was a means for MARK to experiment new looks, create, be himself unapologetically and embrace newfound freedom in fashion and more.

2021 has undeniably been a year rich in experiences for MARK so far. From group to solo projects of all kinds, many fans have rejoiced to see him dive more into fashion.

From nail art to dabbling into various, sometimes unconventional, styles, MARK blew fans’ minds away with his street and runways’ fashion – even breaking the internet multiple times with his appearances at shows, earning a spot in GQ magazine’s list of best dressed of such major fashion events.

He also met various fans in Paris, always humbly stopping to have a chat, take pictures and sign albums.
