TRENDZ has postponed its comeback schedule.
On October 31, the agency officially announced, “The release of TRENDZ’s new song, which was scheduled to be released on November 3, has been temporarily postponed due to the Itaewon disaster and the national mourning period.”
TRENDZ was set to release its new single “BLUE SET CHAPTER. UNKNOWN CODE” on November 3, but the group suspended its planned schedule following the declaration of a period of national mourning. They also canceled media interviews that were scheduled before the album’s release.
TRENDZ’s agency also added that they will inform about the exact new release schedule later.
On Halloween day in Itaewon, Seoul, the night of October 29, tens of thousands of people gathered, and an accident occurred. As of the morning of October 31, a total of 154 people have been killed in the accident. Accordingly, the government designated a period of national mourning until November 5 and declared Yongsan-gu, Seoul, a special disaster area.
