JACKSON WANG is setting off an exclusive collaboration auctioning items from his personal wardrobe.
The new project of Pharrell Williams’ auction platform JOOPITER has been revealed: next June 18, an auction will be open for 29 lots from JACKSON WANG‘s very own wardrobe. Funds will contribute to a charity that shall be announced soon.
For this new project, Pharrell wanted to give the spotlight to Louis Vuitton’s global ambassador whose journey was unconventional and remarkable at the same time. To him,
Jackson’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. Transitioning from a promising sports career to becoming a celebrated recording artist. He embodies the spirit of innovation and reinvention that JOOPITER champions. Much like myself, Jackson’s interests span across music, the arts, and design, making him a perfect fit for our community.
And so for this auction, JACKSON decided to put on sale 29 pieces showcasing milestones from his life. From fencing equipments to stage outfits from his MAGIC MAN world tour, each of these items holds a particular meaning for the artist who never ceases to explore new fields and create, even now.
The collaboration doesn’t stop at the auction: for the occasion, JOOPITER and TEAM WANG design, JACKSON‘s fashion brand, teamed up to create a limited edition collection entitled TEAM JOOPITER with 6 pieces: three tshirts, a Tang suit, a pair of gloves, sunglasses and a keyring.
