JEON SOMI
The August issue featuring JEON SOMI in a photo shoot and interview has been unveiled.
In this photo shoot, JEON SOMI revealed a wide range of charm, at times channeling diva-like elegance reminiscent of Madonna, and at others, playful tomboyish expressions. Her bold poses and intense gaze recalled the passion and warmth she conveys in her single “EXTRA.”
In the interview, she shared her honest and calm reflections on promoting her new digital single:
“In the past, when I released a song and got on stage for the first time, I was both excited and scared. This time, with ‘EXTRA,’ it feels a little different. I gave it my all in preparing for it, and now that the song is out in the world, it no longer truly belongs to me. Of course, I hope people love it and listen to it a lot, but even if they don’t, I’ve come to accept that.”
She added: “I worked with the best team members, and I’m already preparing for what comes next. Right now, I’m focused on presenting what I’ve prepared with care and moving forward to the next chapter.”
She also shared her thoughts on her dual roles as a musician and as the head of the beauty brand Glǝp:
“I don’t believe that success only comes in the form of numbers. But that doesn’t mean I live only in ideals either. There’s no absolute standard. I like when inspiring people tell me I’m inspiring. Right now, I’m doing what I want to do, and I feel fulfilled. And I still have that ambition to keep getting better.”
