BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK was “Pretty savage” at the Stade de France!

After making history at the Stade de France by becoming the first K-pop girl group to perform there in 2023 for the “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <BORN PINK> ENCORE“, BLACKPINK is making a strong comeback this year with two dates, on August 2 and 3, for its “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE>“. KSTATION TV was able to attend BLACKPINK‘s return to the legendary Stade de France on August 3.
Even before the evening kicked off, BLINKs (fandom name) knew how to raise the temperature. Both outside the gates and inside the Stade de France, fans gathered to dance and sing along to BLACKPINK‘s songs, immediately immersing us in a warm and electric atmosphere.
An electric atmosphere that reaches its peak when BLACKPINK (JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, LISA) takes the stage with the first song “Kill this love“. With a live band, iconic choreography and numerous pyrotechnic effects, the group sets the tone for a memorable concert from the beginning. BLACKPINK then continues with the famous “Pink venom“, “How you like that“, “Playing with fire” and “Shut down“, which maintain an intense atmosphere with explosive performances and the fans’ chants that resonate with those of the members.
After a thrilling first group performance, the members of BLACKPINK prepare more personal performances for fans. Indeed, the “DEADLINE” world tour is also an opportunity to highlight their recently released solo projects: JISOO and LISA released their albums “AMORTAGE” and “ALTER EGO” in February 2025, JENNIE released her album “RUBY” in March 2025, and ROSÉ released her album “ROSIE” in December 2024. Each showed their artistic world throughout the evening, asserting their own musical and aesthetic identity on the Stade de France stage.
And it’s JISOO who opens this part with “Earthquake” and “Your love“, two tracks that immediately establish a delicate atmosphere, almost suspended in time. Carried by a refined stage design, JISOO transports us into a world that is at once gentle and romantic. A world that contrasts with the first group’s performances and allows us to see the full range of talents of the group’s eldest member.
She is followed by LISA—or rather, her “ALTER EGO” Vixi—who electrifies the stage with “Thunder” and “Fxck up the world“. An intense performance, marked by explosive energy from both the fans and LISA, but also special for the nod to her first solo tracks, “Lalisa” and “Money“, in the choreography of “Fxck up the world“.
But before JENNIE and ROSÉ‘s solo performances, the members briefly reunited on stage to continue rocking the Stade de France together. Returning with “Pretty savage“, BLACKPINK took us on a journey through the different phases of its career, performing tracks from various albums and demonstrating its evolution since its debut in 2016. Fans were able to dance to “Don’t know what to do” and “Whistle“, let themselves be carried away by the members’ vocals on “Stay“, and express their romantic and melancholic souls on “Lovesick girls“.
After this performance, it was JENNIE‘s turn to take over. After a highly acclaimed first solo concert at the Zénith de La Villette last March, she successfully recreated this legendary atmosphere at the Stade de France. Amidst the fans’ cheers, she performed “Handlebars“, “With the ie (way up)“, and the highly anticipated “Like Jennie“, which particularly set the stage on fire.
Finally, ROSÉ, who headlined the Gala des Pièces Jaunes last January, closed this solo performance. Amidst the fans’ flashes, “Two years” and “Toxic till the end” created a special, nostalgic atmosphere that particularly struck us. ROSÉ confided on this occasion: “Paris is a very long way away from home for me, but I feel like, as always, all of you guys make it feel like home, and it’s an incredible feeling. Two years ago, I was here, and I think it’s inspired me to write “Two years“.” She then finished with the famous “APT.“, turning the performance into a true celebration between ROSÉ and the BLINKs before starting the final act of this magical evening.
As the concert nears its end, the members come back on the recent “Jump” that had the entire Stade de France audience jumping before continuing, still in the same energy, with “Bombayah” and “Ddu-du ddu-du“, creating a truly festive atmosphere. Indeed, at the end of these performances, the fans sing traditional French songs of encouragement and stamp their feet until the Stade de France stage shakes once again. After thanking their fans, the members conclude this second date in Paris with “As if it’s your last” and “forever young“, as a promise to always be by the side of the BLINKs.
“I would love to say how much I love you guys, so thankful to everyone who came to our show today. It’s been two years since I’ve been in Paris and, the love has always been constant. Thank you everyone.” – JENNIE
“I love you energy and you missed you so much. So thank you for coming tonight.“ – LISA
But the night wasn’t over yet. Before its encore, BLACKPINK planned a dance challenge for the BLINKs. Some lucky fans were selected to perform solo and group choreographies like “How you like that“, “Earthquake“, “Rockstar“, and “Shut down“, before the entire Stade de France jumped once again to “Jump“. Then, to end the evening in style, the members performed “Typa girl” and “Kick it” right up close with the fans, creating a unique, intimate moment and an even more festive atmosphere.
In conclusion, this concert was a true experience. BLINKs’ energy was inexhaustible and made the Stade de France rock several times. Furthermore, BLACKPINK‘s iconic songs and choreography kept the crowd on fire all evening, with “Jump” standing out as a highlight, creating a uniquely electric atmosphere in the stadium. The addition of the members’ solo performances made the moment even more special, offering a deeper look into each member’s musical universe live on stage.
Finally, BLACKPINK will continue its world tour at the Ippodromo SNAI La Maura in Milan, Italy, on August 6th.
