The group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) launched into a survival game mixing laughter and tension.

On August 6, SEVENTEEN released a new episode of their own content series “GOING SEVENTEEN” on its official YouTube channel, titled “EP.130 WATER BATTLEGROUNDS #1.” This episode features a water gun battle inspired by battle royale rules, where members collect and equip attack and defense items to fight each other until only one survivor remains.
Each member’s unique playing style provided highly entertaining moments. Right from the start, SEUNGKWAN, unable to find any items, tried to survive by appealing emotionally to JOSHUA, asking, “In this harsh world, can’t we just be a little warm?” while practically placing himself under MINGYU’s command, creating a scene that was both funny and bittersweet.
Meanwhile, JUN adopted a stealthy strategy, DINO fled at a critical moment due to a lack of water, and VERNON quietly observed from the sidelines, waiting for his chance. Throughout the game, each member’s personality shone through, bringing lots of laughter.
Once they got the hang of the rules, the members started forming teams and coordinating group attacks. DK and JOSHUA’s alliance made HOSHI the first eliminated player. Meanwhile, MINGYU took the unarmed SEUNGKWAN under his wing, and together they searched for needed equipment. THE8, ambushed by S.COUPS during a joint attack, later teamed up with WOOZI to plan their next move.
Toward the end of the video, the play area begins to shrink, heightening the tension. All the members gather around a supply box, focusing attention on who will be the last survivor of this water battle.
Additionally, SEVENTEEN will hold their concert “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]” on September 13 and 14 at the main stadium of Incheon Asiad. This tour symbolizes the group’s new challenges and limitless potential. After Incheon, SEVENTEEN will perform at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium, then visit five North American cities in October, before wrapping up the year with shows at Japan’s four major domes from November to December.
