WOO KANG MIN
Actor WOO KANG MIN has confirmed his role in the new series “Confidence Man KR.”

On August 12, his agency Totalset announced:
“Actor WOO KANG MIN has confirmed his participation in the upcoming drama ‘Confidence Man KR.’ Known for his strong acting presence and action scenes, WOO KANG MIN will reveal a new side of himself through this project. Please look forward to it.”
“Confidence Man KR” (written by Hong Seung-hyun, directed by Nam Ki-hoon) is a remake of the 2018 Japanese series “Confidence Man JP.” The story follows three con artists with distinct charms who use clever schemes to steal money from people blinded by greed and desire. The series is directed by Nam Ki-hoon, known for “Casino” and “Book of destiny,” and written by Hong Seung-hyun, who wrote “Criminal minds” and “Cheo-yong.”

The Korean remake is attracting significant attention, especially since the original “Confidence Man JP” was also adapted into a movie in Japan and aired as a special project for Fuji TV’s 60th anniversary. Many are curious if this Korean version, with its diverse cast, will achieve the same success domestically.
Woo Kang-min began his acting career in 2017 with the OCN drama “Bad Guys 2” and has since appeared in films like “The Gangster, the cop, the devil,” “The roundup,” and “The other one: Part 2,” as well as Disney+ productions including “May it please the court,” “The worst of Evil,” and “Casino.”
The series “Confidence Man KR” will premiere on Saturday, September 6 at 9:10 PM on TV Chosun and Coupang Play. Internationally, it will be available on Prime Video in 240 countries and regions, excluding South Korea.
