YOON YECHAN of 82MAJOR revealed his multiple charms in his first solo photoshoot.
On December 1, fashion magazine DAZED published on its official site the individual winter edition photoshoot and interview of 82MAJOR (Seongil, Yechan, Seongmo, Seongbin, Seokjoon, and Dogyun). In these shots, YOON YECHAN sports minimalist and sporty looks, exuding a free and confident aura. He perfectly masters different styles, from hip mood to classic fashion.
During the interview, YOON YECHAN reflected on the two years of 82MAJOR’s career. He explained:
“The music of 82MAJOR does not limit the personality of each member; it is the ‘confidence’ that each person fully expresses.”
Regarding the group’s nickname as “performer idols,” he added: “The moment this is most proven is on stage. Fans draw energy from seeing us truly enjoy the performance.”
YOON YECHAN also stated: “A ‘trophy’ doesn’t need to be a cup. Every time we release music and meet fans who love it, it feels like a trophy.”
On October 30, 82MAJOR released its 4th mini-album “TROPHY” with the title track of the same name and conducted active promotions. All members participated in writing and composing, showing their talent as “self-producing idols.” The album exceeded 100,000 sales in the first week, marking a career high. After their activities in Korea, 82MAJOR will hold its first fan meeting in Tokyo, Japan in December, expanding its activities internationally.
