EVEN OF DAY

While the KPOP/KROCK band DAY6, from JYP ENTERTAINMENT,  decided to make a temporary break due to some members having health problems, a sub-unit of the band appeared lately.

EVEN OF DAY is composed of 3 members being WONPIL, YOUNG K and DOWOON. They are the first sub-unit of the band DAY6. They released their first album on August 31st. It explains why they made their stage debuts as the band EVEN OF DAY at the show M COUNTDOWN on Septembre 3rd, singing their brand new and self-composed song “Where the sea sleeps“.

In a warm and healing atmosphere, their first album is entitled “THE BOOK OF US : GLUON“. It continues with the album series “THE BOOK OF US” that was started by DAY6. With DOWOON playing battery and the harmonious voices of WONPIL and YOUNG K, the 3 members bring you into a soft atmosphere with a trio that will make you speechless.

DOWOON

DOWOON is the only member who doesn’t sing. Thus, it looks like he’s been having singing lessons and the fans are now hoping for him to sing soon with the other members.

WONPIL

WONPIL is the keyboardist. His voice is sweet and soft that works well with YOUNG K‘s voice.

YOUNG K

YOUNG K, is playing the bass. For DAY6, he’s oftenly been in charge of all rap parts. He has a voice that is a bit more “rocky”. Here, he introduces a soft and sweet voice that harmonizes perfectly with WONPIL’s voice.

An introduction video has been prepared by the members, revealing the idea that’s hiding behind the lyrics of their new song.
