APINK: JUNG EUNJI successfully completed her first performance of the musical “The great comet”

JUNG EUNJI who took the stage as “Natasha” for the musical “The great comet“, which opened at the Universal Art Center in Seoul on March 21st, 2021, expressed her feelings for her premiere performance through a press release from his agency PlayM Entertainment.

A lot of people are doing badly with Covid19, I’m glad it was delayed by a year, to let us relax, but so I’m very nervous, and all the actors are united and we are looking forward to the audience. The great comet” is a musical created by Dave Maloy, a famous American composer and playwright, based on some of Tolstoy’s masterpieces “War and peace” with director Rachel Chavkin, which opened in September last year, but which was postponed as a result of Covid19.

JUNG EUNJI, who returned to make the musical for the first time in six years with “The great comet”, successfully completed her first performance amid favorable reviews by playing “Natasha”, a pure and charming woman from 20 years old who misses her fiancé and who finds himself at war. JUNG EUNJI has gained public attention as a musical comedy actress with her very stable singing talents and abilities through her works such as “Elle Woods” in “Legally Blonde” in 2012 and “Han Jieun” in “Full House” in 2014.


JUNG EUNJI started as an actress since tvN’s drama “Reply 1997” in 2012, followed by SBS’s “That winter, windy” and JTBC’s “Untouchable” and many other dramas, and since July 2019, she is DJ of “JUNG EUNJI KBS Cool FM Song Plaza” and won the Radio DJ of the Year award 2020.

The girl group APINK, to which JUNG EUNJI belongs, is a representative girl group of Kpop who have been loved for many songs which have been very successful such as “Mr.Chu“, “Nonono“, “I’m so sick“, and “Dumhdurum“, which marks its 10th anniversary this year.

The musical “The great comet” will be performed at the Universal Art Center in Seoul from March 21 to May 30th.
