B1A4: CNU will take his first steps in the theater

B1A4‘s CNU will be on stage for the first time since his debut.

CNU, which is active in various genres ranging from musical activities to dramas and musicals, will perform a different acting transformation through performance in the play “찬란하고 찬란한 (Litt: Brilliant and Brilliant)” at JS Art Hall from Seoul from January 19 to March 31 next year.

The play “찬란하고 찬란한” starring CNU is a work that tells the miraculous story of ordinary young people who experience restlessness, as the dream of Japanese writer “Haruki” and musical talent “Shota” suddenly write a scenario during a phone call.

In the play, CNU will appear in the role of “Shota” a member of a bright and positive group, and as CNU, who is active in the B1A4 group, and “Shota”, who is a member of a group, therefore have a common point: the music, it is expected that this will increase the immersion of the audience by making the character their own with more detailed acting.

B1A4 singer CNU is loved by fans for his versatile role in various fields such as writing and composition, as well as his sweet tone and cool singing ability, and he consolidates his position as an actor by appearing in dramas and musicals in addition to his group activities.

CNU, who appeared in a number of musical works starting with the role of Anatoly, the main character of the musical “Chess” in 2015, showed bright and cute charm in the role of d ‘Artagnan, the virtuous main character in the musical “The Three Musketeers“, and played “Hamlet” in the musical of the same name to delicately portray various emotions with deeper inner play. In particular, in the musical “Gwangju”, which is his first work since leaving the army, he played Park Han Soo, a character who directs the play and an employee of the special forces of Gwangju, to enhance the completeness of the work with his intense look and heavy playing, impressing the audience.
