ATEEZ
The very first KPOP group to fill the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France, with “2025 ATEEZ WORLD TOUR, TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO TOWER“, ATEEZ once again imposes its difference, its uniqueness and its love for fans.
This January 18, the group ATEEZ composed of 8 members, HONG JOONG, SEONG HWA, WOO YOUNG, YEO SANG, YUN HO, MINGI, SAN, JONGHO, from KQ Entertainment, was on stage in the huge venue in Lyon, the LDLC Arena in France.
Launch of the European tour, organized by AEG, ATEEZ delighted the fans with a well-rehearsed, millimeter-perfect concert and a perfect technical team.
It all starts by energizing the audience with several MV videos, which the ATINYS (fans of the group) sing along to. Enough to raise the temperature in the room and start sending energy to the group waiting at the back of the stage. The light slowly fades and it’s the beginning of the show, with the first three songs which are none other than “Crazy form”, “Say my name” and “Win”.
A start to the concert so “energetic” that it gives the impression that it is not just at the beginning. The fans are electrified, energized, coming from several European countries, at the sight of the French, Portuguese, Spanish or Belgian flags. The members of ATEEZ quickly continue with the songs “This world“, “Guerilla“, “Cyberpunk” or “Halazia“. ATINYs in the stands can no longer stay seated, and get up to cheer, encourage or dance to each of the songs.
After this part of the show, the members of ATEEZ will take a moment to sit down, and to talk to the fans. Introducing themselves to the public, the 8 boys try a few words of French to greet the ATINYs.
“Bonsoir, Lyon”
It doesn’t take much more to make the whole room scream. And when SAN, instead of saying hello, launches the famous “Poooooo po-po-po-po poo poooo…“, it’s a collective hysteria that makes the LDLC Arena room vibrate. Each member insists on the fact that it’s a first time for them in Lyon, which changes them from the biggest cities in the world, and it’s something they appreciate, having closer contact with the audience.
The show continues to raise the temperature, it will take a few accessories, like chairs and this big white cage so that the sensuality that the members of ATEEZ give off spreads to the audience. Or even this more romantic side with this phone call in this pink phone booth, or JONGHO at the top of this staircase to impose his vocal power. Before going back to a saloon to quickly find all the energy of the group.
The show’s making is incredible, the decor which remains quite simple with this large central tower, the giant screens whose images are ultra neat, the group of dancers who accompany the members and come to refine the choreographies and especially the work on the lighting effects which must be underlined. Between the official “Lightinys” lightsticks which harmonize according to the songs and the atmosphere, the light score is created with genius, without smoke which often spoils the view of the spectators, the light rays pierce the room and give a whole other dimension to the show.
But of course, ATEEZ continues with the songs “MATZ” and the first live performance of “Ice on my teeth“, without forgetting “Django” or “Bouncy“. But when do they rest? The stage never empties, the audience asks for more and we will approach the end of the show, enough to listen to “Eternal sunshine” or “Work“, before the encores which will end with “Utopia“.
After this first date and fantastic performance, the group ATEEZ will go to Italy, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Spain, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark to return to Paris in France on February 22 and end this tour in Brussels in Belgium on February 25.
