The country’s only local magazine for confident singles, “Singles,” has published a group photoshoot of OH MY GIRL, who are holding a special concert for its 10th anniversary.
OH MY GIRL, who perfectly executed a sophisticated black and white look during this photoshoot, showcased her unwavering style and charm, combining elegance and charisma.
OH MY GIRL plans to meet its fans at a concert in April. Regarding the title track, “Milky way,” YUBIN said,
“The lyrics are from our song ‘Closer,’ and I thought it was symbolic for OH MY GIRL. I think by gathering the fragments of memories we’ve experienced one by one, we can form a large galaxy.”
SEUNGHEE said, “There were so many songs I wanted to perform at this concert, so it wasn’t easy to adjust the setlist. But since it’s our 10th anniversary, we composed the songs that made OH MY GIRL happy and the ones our fans loved.” We’re going to perform songs that come to mind when we say “Oh My Girl.”
When asked about her 10th anniversary celebration, HYOJUNG said, “I think it’s great to spend my twenties with the members and fans. I’m so proud of our performance, and I want to thank the members for trusting each other and supporting each other for so long.” YOOA also added, “I feel like I’ve been through so much in ten years. They were very intense, passionate, and difficult times, but I think I get along well with the members.”
Regarding her most memorable moment of the past decade, YOOA said,
“When we reached the top of the charts with ‘Nonstop,’ there were many moments where I thought ‘1’ was a good thing, but it wasn’t everything. Then, for the first time, I experienced a moment of happiness by reaching number 1, and it was nice to have the members by my side.” The times we fought together are also over. It remains etched in my heart like a seal to this day.”
SEUNGHEE said, “When I appeared on ‘Queendom,’ I thought OH MY GIRL was a tough group and that the members’ survival would be difficult, but there were many moving moments when I saw them succeed.” ARIN recalled, “When we debuted, we went grocery shopping together, shared our worries, and talked about them. Looking back, I miss that time even more because it’s a moment I’ll never forget.” When asked about the next ten years, MIMI said,
“I hope we continue to do as well as we do today. We respect each other and don’t lose our initial commitment. They’ve always done their best, so I think they’re cool enough OH MY GIRL, just like they are now.”
As for her goal for 2025, SEUNGHEE said, “I’ve started acting, and I want to come back with a better role”. HYOJUNG added, “As a radio host, I want to be friends with the listeners.” ARIN added, “I want to see and feel a lot and grow through various experiences, and as OH MY GIRL, I want to enjoy this concert happily and without any regrets.” Meanwhile, the exclusive concert “2025 OH MY GIRL CONCERT “Milky Way”,” commemorating OH MY GIRL‘s 10th anniversary, will be held at the Olympic Park Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on April 19 and 20.
