JACKSON WANG‘s new song « GBAD » will be released on March 28.
The artist announced his new release with a first teaser on his social media. The teaser shows JACKSON in his MAGIC MAN persona that is seen through the hole of a chest.
« GBAD » will be part of his upcoming album « MAGIC MAN 2 » which stands as the continuation of his previous album « MAGIC MAN » and the expression of another side of him.
Indeed, as the artist went to promote on various shows and interviews, the Daebak Show hosted by ERIC NAM among others, he shared about the very personal purpose of his new album. With « MAGIC MAN », JACKSON created a whole universe around this persona that was characterized by some dark makeup. The music and the visuals were spectacular, especially with artistic music videos that were worked to the detail. However, his work didn’t explain his real emotions nor the identity of what « MAGIC MAN » was. With this new album, which he has been preparing for a year, he will be sharing his thoughts, his inner him, his turth, his view on life and on the industry.
Previously, JACKSON introduced his new work with « High alone », a soundtrack-like song that intended to let the audience focus on the narrative of the music video.
March 28 will also be a special day to look forward to since JACKSON will be celebrating his 31st birthday as well.
