Dancer YUMEKI receives an “All-Star” rating during the Signal Song Test.

On July 24, the Mnet show “Boys 2 Planet K” featured the Signal Song Test segment.
That day, YUMEKI took the stage under the focused eyes of the other contestants. His reputation preceded him, having previously appeared on “Street Man Fighter” as a member of 1MILLION.
Master Kingki asked him:
“You’re a very active dancer—why did you decide to join Boys 2 Planet?”
YUMEKI answered:
“Until now, I’ve always performed on stage as a dancer, but never as the main focus. I joined the show because I want to be the one in the spotlight one day.”
Before going on stage, he said:
“I’ve been really worried, but I decided to let everything go and take on this challenge. I want to show the most impressive version of myself, without any regrets.”
YUMEKI chose to perform “Rainism” by Rain. His dancing was flawless, but vocally, he fell short. Master Lim Han Byul commented:
“Putting the dancing aside,as a vocal master, I have to say that, by my standards, YUMEKI is at a No-Star level vocally. His incredible dance skills actually make the gap with his singing more obvious. It’s a double-edged sword.”
YUMEKI was given 1 Star. He responded candidly:
“Honestly, it really hurt my pride. I thought, ‘Am I really that bad?’ I was angry, and I knew I couldn’t stay like this.”
After that, the Signal Song training sessions began. During the class-level evaluations, YUMEKI caught everyone’s attention with his outstanding dance skills. Master Kani exclaimed:
“Yumeki crushed it!”
The day of the official Signal Song Test finally arrived. With significantly improved vocals compared to his initial performance, YUMEKI received very positive feedback from the other contestants.
He ultimately earned an All-Star rating, with the masters praising the consistent effort he had shown. Lim Han Byul remarked:
“Out of all the contestants, he showed the most vocal improvement. He could barely sing at first.”
