JAMIE: A positive spectator for the Corona virus

A spectator of the musical “JAMIE” has been confirmed to have been infected with the novel corona virus. Fortunately, the results of an epidemiological investigation showed that there was no close connection between the show and the contamination, so it was decided that the show would run normally.

“It has been confirmed that a member of the public who visited the LG Art Center on August 22 and watched the performance of ‘JAMIE’ at 6:30 p.m. has been confirmed to have Covid-19,” said the producer of the performance Shownote August 28th.

He added: “Following an epidemiological investigation carried out at 2 pm that same day, the spectator continued to wear a mask during his visit to the theater, and with the placement of the public during the performance, there is no had no contact with other people.”

Shownote said he carried out an additional quarantine at the LG Art Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and stressed, “All visitors, actors and staff who enter and leave the concert hall are doing their best to prevent the spread of Covid-19 by measuring body temperature, taking appropriate action, and wearing masks.”

“We have suspended performances from August 24 to 30 following the second phase of the physical distance against the Corona virus. With these preventive quarantine achievements, we had confirmation from the local health center that future performances can be performed normally.”

The musical “JAMIE” portrays the dream, challenge and love of the family of JAMIE, a 17-year-old high school student who wants to become a drag queen, and will be performed at the LG Arts Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul through ‘to September 11th.
